Back with a Bang

“Ernie how can this happen?”, Jason asked. “The Youth Center and Juice Bar were cornerstones of Angel Grove.”

“Yeah, it was a place where kids could go and hang out without getting into trouble. “, Kimberly added. “Why would it be closing?”

Bulk stepped forward and answered the question. “Ernie has been in financial trouble for a while. The Youth Center has been losing members right and left as kids have been finding other things to pass the time.”

“Other things?”, Ashley asked. “Such as what?”

Skull took a deep breath before speaking. “Anything that doesn’t have anything to do with the Youth Center. Whether it be the latest video game or something more… illegal.” The rangers all nodded well aware of what ‘illegal’ could mean.

“This isn’t right. “, Cassie said. “The Youth Center was supposed to help young people. Teach them so they can become the best they can be and have fun doing it. Why would they turn on it?”

Now Ernie spoke up. “Because, when the latest evil monster attacked from the moon people knew where to go. What was good and what wasn’t. Now that monsters don’t, or hardly, come here anymore now that they have moved to Mariner Bay. Angel Grove monster attacks apparently became… just a passing fad.”

The Lightspeeds shook their heads in disbelief. Bansheera found other victims of her actions and they hadn’t even lived in Mariner Bay. “Is there anything we can do?”, Dana asked.

Ernie sighed before answering. “Not unless you can come up with $100, 000 dollars so I can buy the place and keep it open. But I have nowhere near that kind of cash.”

All the rangers gathered together and talked about what to do next. “I don’t know how my bank account is now, but when I died I can say I didn’t have that much on me. “, Adam said.

“The life of a stuntman. All pain and little money. “, Rocky pointed out.

“I think the same is said for all of us. “, Karone said. “When I was freed of being Astronema I gave my treasure back to the people I stole it from as well as any I had that I didn’t steal.”

Same goes for me. “, Night Ranger Karone said. “And the rest of us didn’t bring any money with us either.

“Lightspeed probalbly won’t help. “, Carter said, and Dana and Ryan nodded.

“They’d write it off as an extracurricular expence, and that’s against the backer’s policy. “, Dana said with sorrow.

“Well I guess there’s only one thing to do. “, Kimberly said with a smile. She shared her idea with the others and they liked it.

Tommy then turned to Ernie and said, “Ernie, we’ve got an idea on how to save the Youth Center. “Ernie became interested in what the young people had to say.

“We’re going to put on a show for Angel Grove. “, Tommy said. “And everyone’s going to help out.”

In the domain of Stygian four figures looked down at the massive army coming together in the central hall. More would be coming that the hall couldn’t fill which would mean more power for them.

Standing on the plateau looking down were the evil masters of the Order of Destruction. Zanzibar, Lord Destructor, Evil Q, and the leader of the Destron Alliance–the insane leader Galvatron.

“It’s a shame that we couldn’t destroy the rangers here. “, Destructor pointed out. “Now we run the risk of those rangers trying to stop us however small the chance.”

“It doesn’t matter. “, Galvatron said. “That just means we can destroy them later and destroy them again after we have destroyed everything else!”, Galvatron said emphasizing the word ‘destroy’ every time. Kill, smash, destroy, were the words running through Galvatron’s mind. Evil Q seemed to pick up on the thought and rolled his eyes. I hope he can maintain enough of his faculties to lead.

Zanzibar however was amused by Galvatron’s tirade. He found it funny whenever Galvatron had one of his ‘episodes’ of insanity. But he also knew of the tactical mind Galvatron had when it came to the fore. “Do not worry Galvatron. “, Destructor had said. The skies through all the realms shall reign fire in our passing.”

“Yes. “, Evil Q said. “For my Ultimate Weapon shall be here to rain terror on the multiveres.

Evil laughter echoed throughout the room as the leaders made their preparations for war, unaware of the metal bat that hung in the shadows and retreated when his spy job was done.

Or of a mysterious figure who stood in the shadows holding something glowing a sinister shade of red. The figure looked down at the object in his hand as it glowed. A smile crossed its lips.

“Soon. “, it said. “Soon all shall know the power of evil.”

“I appreciate what you guys are trying to do. “, Ernie said. “But the days of karate demonstrations wowing the crowd are long over. How will you get people to come in?”

“Ernie, you know many of us have other talents besides karate. “, Kimberly said. “I play guitar. Kat, Aisha, Tanya and Cassie sing. Zack’s a dance machine. And Bulk and Skull…. . have their thing.”

“Yeah but what about these guys?”, Ernie said to the Night Rangers, Lightspeeds, and Galaxy Rangers.”

“Hey, you are talking to the sky coyboy man. “, Joel said. “Give me an airplane and I can throw a show no one will forget.” Sensing Ernie’s apprehension about getting a plane Joel reassured him that he could borrow one from a friend at Angel Grove airport.

“And we have some talent as well. “, Jessica said. “We could do a motorcycle show. “, making reference to the Night Rangers. “And Kincaid here has a special talent audience will like.”

All the rangers and Ernie looked intrigued. “What talent is that?”, Kyle asked.

Jessica smiled. “You’ll find out. Now Ernie, what do you say?”

After a few seconds Ernie said. “I’ve nothing to lose by trying, so I’ll do it!” The rangers all cheered.

Ravage Starkiller looked up at the starry sky of the planet which served as the base of operations for Rouge Squadron. His mind running through feelings of dread and darkness that he believed were premonitions of coming trouble, even though he knew not what it would be.

Then he saw an old friend of his with a red symbol reminiscent of a sabertoothed tiger flying towards him and he knew his fears were justified. For Ratbat would not have come to Ravage unless there was great trouble. Trouble that Galvatron may be involved with.

“Ratbat my friend. Why have you come?”, Ravage asked as he produced a data recorder for Ratbat to transform into. Soon Ratbat was in cassette mode and he relayed his findings to Ravage.

Galvatron stood with Destructor and Zanzibar as an army was being amased at a place hed did not recognize. Ratbat then said that it was a realm between dimensions where other dimensions were being observed. Also that Galvatron and the others would be leading attacks through those dimensions searching for something in hopes of acclaiming more power for a super weapon.

Ratbat then ejected himself from Ravage’s data recorder and hovered over his fellow cassette. “Thank you my friend. Now return to Cybertron and inform Optimus and Megatron of the current crisis. Ratbat did so as he flapped his wings making tracks for Cybertron. Ravage went inside the base calling for a general assembly of Rouge Squadron.

Kincaid rode up on his Harley to where Andros and Tommy stood with Ernie. “The flyers have been put up. “, he said.

“Now the only question will be, who’s going to show up”, Ernie asked.

“I think quite a few. “, Tommy said with a smirk. Andros also had the look of mischief. Ernie however looked confused. “Is there something you guys aren’t telling me?”

Kelsey then came driving in the humvee. “Everything’s up. Is everyone okay?”

“Yeah, everyone’s inside getting the place ready for tonight. “, Tommy said. Kelsey nodded and went inside to join the rest of the rangers. Kincaid, Tommy and Ernie followed.

Sure enough there were rangers everywhere wiping tables, setting up a stage, preparing lighting for acts. Anything and everything for a show, even getting costumes together. The Blunder Rangers had ape suits and scottish kilts with them. No one asked why.

“Well, it looks like this place is shaping up. “, Ernie left for the kitchen to check out things there. Kyle and Alison then came up to Kincaid and Tommy.

“Does he know?”, Kyle asked.

Kincaid turned to look at the White Night Ranger. “What? That we put ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ on the fliers around the neighborhood?”

Tommy shook his head as he let out a chuckle. “I can’t believe you put that in the flier.”

Alison then had a smirk on her lips. “Well that’s not… ALL we added.” Tommy turned to look at Alison and wondered what was behind Alison’s smirk. Alison gave her explanation.

“You see, a lot of girls were concerned that having ‘girls, girls, girls’ on the fliers was a little…. demeaning to us of the female gender of Power Ranger. So we agreed to put up a little something of our own.” Tommy suddenly felt VERY nervous as he wondered what Alison had done. “What did you add?”, he asked worriedly.

“Ohh nothing much. “, Alison said coyly. “Just ‘Prime male specimens. Get ’em while they’re hot!'”

“WHAT?!!!”, Tommy shouted. Everyone turned their heads wondering what was going on. Night Karone turned to Ken as they were working and asked, “Do you think he’s found out about the fliers?”

“Well I guess he was the last to know. Next to Ernie. “, Ken said before going back to task.

Tommy however was running the idea over in his mind. “B… B… B…”

“Oh don’t worry. We’re not putting on THAT kind of show. This is still a youth center. “, Kincaid said.

“You can still do whatever you had in mind. “, Alison said. “Karate tournament right?”

Tommy brought himself together. “Uhhh, Yeah. With Jason, Leo, Adam, Rocky, Carter, Andros and Chad.”

“Good. Kathy, Kim and Kat are helping with your costumes. “, Kyle said. Tommy thanked them and went backstage.

“I’m going to see how Ashley’s doing. “, Alison said setting out to find the namesake of her twin sister. Kincaid was about to go his own way too when Kyle stopped him.

“Kincaid, I think we need to have a few words. “, Kyle said even toned.

“WE DID WHAT IN YOUR WORLD?!”, Katherine and Kimberly shouted together.

“Don’t worry. You were forced. “, Kathy said as she put up costumes on the rack. “But I can safely say that you both are still in love with the men in your lives. Despite the strong connection that has developed between the two of you.”

Kat and Kim were speechless. They always thought of themselves as friends. Never did they consider…. being together, even forced. “How?”, Kim asked.

“When Lord Crucible conquered the galaxy he ordered the rangers rounded up for slave labor. You two were sold to my father who wanted… amusements. So he brought his witch Black Annie to put puppet spells on you leaving you with free will but your bodies were under his control. He also made it so you both could turn into cats by the way.

“Also he needed DNA from both of you so I could live again. I was injured in an attack from my father’s enemies. And although I was a daughter of a Luciferian lord, they would do nothing for me. So my father took my soul from my broken body and kept it on hand until a new body could be created. Which is where you two came in. He used DNA from both of you and brought it together when…”

“Say no more we get the message. “, Kim said. Kat also was feeling uneasy about Kathy’s story. “Come back from the dead, and you find out you were forced into a relationship with one of your best friends. And that you both helped create a new body for someone. Wow!”, Kat said taking a deep breath.

“Well you asked what your other selves were like. I couldn’t lie. “, Kathy said and she went back to her work leaving Kat and Kim alone.

“Quite the story. “, Kim said.

“Yeah, Quite. “, Kat agreed. Then after pausing for a second said, “I’d better go find Tommy.”

“Yeah, I’ll go bother Jason for a while. “, Kim said.

Bretta walked back towards the youth center when a construction crew then made some catcalls towards her. “Whoowee! Look at her!”, one said.

“Man she looks good enough to eat!”, another said.

Bretta turned , walked towards the construction crew and picked up one by the shirt. Then she threw him into a pool of quick drying cement that was only recently poured and was starting to harden. She then turned to the other two workers and asked, “Now, what did you guys say?”

The workers were incensed and advanced towards Bretta meanacingly until a motorcycle engine roared. Standing in the entranceway was Jessica Stewart on her Harley. After gunning the engine she rode towards the construction workers at top speed. The workers ducked for cover into ditches full of water as Jessica rode by.

As one worker brought his head back above water the booted foot of Jessica stood in his face. As he looked up her black jeaned leg, and blue t-shirt with black leather jacket Jessica had a look that would kill. “You REALLY should treat women with more respect!”, she said as he kicked the worker in the face sending him back into the deep puddle.

Bretta saw what Jessica did and was amazed. “Nice!”, she said.

Jessica nodded then got back on her bike then looked at Bretta. “Need a ride back?”, she asked.

“Why not?”, Bretta said as she got on behind Jessica and the two rangers rode back to the youth center.

Evil Q stood in the command chamber opening his mind to the evil being done in the name of the order. It was then that he noticed a presence in the room with him. Evil Q turned to face it.

“Is it ready?”, Evil Q asked.

The figure held up the glowing red object. “Soon, it needs more evil for it to even match the power you are considering.”

Evil Q contemplated then said, “I’ll pass it along to my followers. It will be filled once Leviathan arrives.”

The figure set down the glowing red object and turned to leave as Evil Q took it in his hand. It’s hard to believe something so small can hold so much power. , he thought.

Ravage looked around at his unit which consisted of fellow rougues: the video game geek Ace Stryker who acts like a sci-fi convention groupie, Rouge Ranger who loved big weapons and was not afraid of civilian casualties, Whiplash Speedster the daredevil hot shot who always looked for an excuse to get into the air, Hypera-the telepathic energy prankster who believed she lived life to the fullest, Regar-a good natured rat like creature, Diamondback-the ‘wise woman’ of the group, Arcon Despayre-the snobbiest snob in the universe if Ravage ever met one, the untrustworthy Lilith Satana whom Ravage always kept one sensor on, the fanatical Gront, and the medically enhanced Unia Melle. They were all training in their own awkward ways with the Megazord attack program.

“Ahhh, how dare this mongrel bring his sword to me. “, Arcon said. “Doesn’t he know how rich I am?”

Rouge Ranger didn’t say a word as he blasted everything in sight on his screen. Ace stole a glance at Rouge Ranger’s screen. “One of those ‘phases’ huh?When the game player just decides to have fun and blow everything in sight?”

Rouge Ranger turned to look at Ace casting an icy glare through his helmet and giving a barely audible growl to the game geek shutting him up and sending him back to his own simulated mission.

“I remember flying like this on Gamma Hydra 6. The Megazord went crazy then too. “, Diamondback said finding time to reminice while everyone whittled away at their megazord. Gront was also blowing things everything in sight like Rouge Ranger was but was more logical about it. “Now let’s see, which evil target is more of a threat here. “, he contemplated as he fired his simulator guns. Lilith then had her fighter slam into Gront’s as she said “Pick your target!”

Gront replied after the wake up call from his wingman (or wingdemoness as the case was here. ) Looking below Ravage turned his attention from the current team and looked at the new recruit who was systematically destroying key components on his simulated megazord with peak efficiency.

Ravage didn’t know who this new pilot was or where he came from. All he knew was that his name was Seibercat. A member of a feline species not on council records. He was covered with cybernetic implants on 3/4 of his body with only the right arm and right side of his face showing orange fur. He never spoke, and seemed like he could give Rouge Ranger a run for his money in the cold shoulder department.

Enough fun and games. There’s a job to do!, Ravage thought as he pressed the alert call startling most of the pilots(at least those who show no cold dispositions) and they all looked up to see their commander looking down.

“We have a major problem. “, Ravage said after he turned off the alert klaxon. “Evil Q has joined forces with Galvatron.”

“Uhhh which one? Galvatron the strategist or Galvatron the looney?”, Hypera asked.

“Like there’s a difference. “, Lilith said.

“Was Destructor with him?”, Gront asked. “He must be destroyed.”

“I’d say it was a safe bet. Right fearless leader?”, Unia looked up at Ravage lovingly but no one else noticed.

“You know I remember the time… “, Diamondback said in remeniscence again.

“QUIET!!!”, Ravage shouted ending the witty banter, at least those who were partaking in it. Rouge Ranger and Seibercat maintained their stoic facades. “Yes Destructor is there, as well as possibly a lot more evil lords. Something big is underway and we must stop it. Now the co-ordinates of their location have been downloaded into your ships. Get flight ready we take off in three mikes.”

The pilots stormed out with Arcon whining “But I had a manicure scheduled in three mikes.”

Kyle and Kincaid sat at the bar where fruit juices were waiting for them. After taking a sip Kincaid turned to Kyle and asked, “So what is the big crisis?”

“It’s about the Night Ranger team. “, Kyle said. “I look around and find we don’t know each other all that well. What you know is in that ‘Book of Zordon’ you mentioned and the rest of the guys don’t know you at all.”

“And your point is?”, Kincaid asked.

“The point is we all need to get to know each other better. It would be better if we had a team that could rely on each other instead of a team of strangers.” Kincaid nodded at Kyle’s sugesstion. “So what do you suggest?”, Kincaid asked.

“Well let’s start with the little things, like ‘Where do you come from? Do you have any family? Is there anyone special waiting back home? How did you get to be a Night Ranger?'”

Kincaid thought of how to answer Kyle’s queries and answered them straight out. “Port Clinton, OH, with a few years in Columbus. None whom I want to send Christmas cards to. My fiancee’ who’s pregnant with my kid. And I was chosen by the red ranger at the time.”

Out of all the answers Kyle got the third one was the one that surprised him the most. “Your girlfriend’s pregnant?”

Kincaid actually cracked a smile. “Yeah, which is why I want this over as soon as possible. I want to be there when my child is born.”

“Don’t worry. We’ll make it as quick as possible. “, Kyle said but noticed Kincaid didn’t try to keep up with the conversation. “Is there anything else you’d like to say? Don’t you want to know anything about me?”

Kincaid turned to face Kyle. “Just that you wanted to get to know me better is a sign that you care for the team and what happens to them, and that is a good thing in my book. But I’m not really much of a talker. Just ask Jessica or Karone sometime. They know me pretty well.”

“Is there anything else?”, Kyle asked. “Anything else you want to say?”

“Yeah. “, Kincaid said again. “As time goes by I’ll get to know all you guys better. Battles help solidify bonds in combat and we’re going to have quite a few before this is over.”

“Boy you really cut to the chase don’t you?”, Kyle stated.

“That’s the way I like it. Simple and direct. “, and with that Kyle and Kincaid clinked their glasses in a toast and drank their fruit concoctions. Alison, Ashley, Ken, Jessica and Sorrero watching. “Well I guess those guys have hit it pretty good. “, Jessica said.

“Yeah, Kyle’s a great guy. “, Sorrero said.

Ashley then turned to Alison and asked, “So what’s this about me having a twin sister?”

Destructor, Evil Q and Zanzibar left the plateau to check on other aspects of their army leaving Galvatron alone with his insanity.

“Soon. Soon we shall find unlimited power. “, Galvatron said beginning his tirade again. “And then all shall be destroyed by the mighty power of GALVATRON!!!!”

His lieutenant Cyclonus then came forward. “Mighty Galvatron. We stand ready.”

“Excellent!”, Galvatron said. “But I think some precautions need to be taken. Are the recruits ready?”

“Yes mighty one. The Destron volunteers are awaiting their binary bonding partners.”

“Good!”, Galvatron said. “While this technology is something I find repulsive, violating the purity of the mechanical Cybertronian form, We shall need all the advantages we can get.”

Galvatron and Cyclonus made their way to their part of the lair as the UAE volunteers lay strapped to the table. Standing over them were robotic bodies bearing a purple symbol much Like Galvatron and Cyclonus wore. A symbol representing an insect with antennae and large round eyes.

Zedd, Rita, Goldar, Rito, Ecliptor, Darkonda, Divatox, Finster, Elgar, Porto and Rygog all laid on tables awaiting something they weren’t sure about. “Are you sure this will work?”, Zedd asked.

“Lord Zedd, you wound me. “, Galvatron said with a sneer. “When you are joined with the Masterforce you will know power greater than your own. None will stand in your way.”

“Oh goody, goody, goody. “, Elgar said acting like a little kid in a candy store.

“Don’t worry this won’t hurt. “, Galvatron said as he brought his arm to the lever which would activate the process. Then with a smirk he added. “Much!”

The the process activated and the evil beings on the lab tables screamed as the machines did their work infusing armor, modifying body parts, grafting components and so on to make the monsters able to join with their Destron partners. Galvatron stood watching as the process continued. A smile crossed his features at the ‘volunteers’ discomfort.

Soon blaster fire rocked the lair.

Ken felt the memories swirl in his mind. Memories of pressure. Memories of people trying to change him. Conform, comform. were the words going on in his mind. Listen to me! Listen to me! You’re way is wrong!You’ve got to change!.

Ken felt his body tense up like a tight spring ready to bust loose. He needed a release but there were too many people around. “Are you okay?”, Aisha asked.

“Yeah fine. “, Ken said. “I just need to get some air is all.” With that Ken Tanaka left the main room with Aisha watching wondering if something was wrong with Ken.

As Ken ducked behind the corner he took out a pill bottle from his black jacket and took out two pills and swallowed then with a sip of water from the fountain. The angry voices stopped in his mind and Ken was able to breath and focus again, but he cursed inwarldy about having to use the pills in the first place.

On a trip to the doctor, Ken was diagnosed with mild depression and anxiety. Ken was offered a prescription and he took it regularly but he hated the thought that he may become addicted to them one day. With medication there’s always that risk. , he thought.

But what if that day comes?, he asked. Once he thought about what he would do if he didn’t have to use the medication. He wound up spending a night in an isolation ward.

To Ken Tanaka, the medication seemed like a matter of ‘damned if you do damned if you don’t’. He couldn’t let anyone know. Not his fellow Night Rangers, not his enemies, no one. I won’t give them any weaknesses to exploit. , he thought. No one can know!

“So it is true?”, Ashley asked her parents over the phone. “I did have a twin?”

“Yes Ashley. “, Mrs. Hammond said. “She died while I was giving birth to the both of you.”

Ashley smiled and looked over at Alison who was standing over her. “What if I was to tell you that my sister may still be alive?” Mrs. Hammond couldn’t believe her ears.

Ashley then went on to tell the story of how Alison was sold off by their doctor who was trying to pay off gambling debts and was sold into prostitution in Los Angeles living under the name of ‘Alison Doe’.

“Who told you this?”, Mrs. Hammond said. Ashley had to choose her words carefully. “Someone… close to Alison. She even knows where she might be.”

Mrs. Hammond asked for ‘the friend’ and Alison picked up the receiver. Alison answered the question and Mrs. Hammond wasted no time calling a private investigator when Ashley and Alison hung up the phone.

“Well let’s hope I’m all right. “, Alison said.

“I hope she is. “, Ashley said. “She is my sister after all.”

“All right Rogue Squadron. Pick your targets. “, Ravage ordered.

Rogue Ranger, Gront, and Lilith had no problems picking targets and blowing them away. Defences along the outer wall were toasted-most of them by Rogue Ranger who flew a ship that had more guns on it that one of the ramparts on the outer wall. But as one defence was destroyed another group of foot soldiers took their place. Soon Coldbloods, putties, Tengas and whatever other servant filled the void in defence left behind.

“Second wing attack. “, Ravage ordered. Soon Ace, Diamondback and Arcon launched their wave taking out more defences. Then when it seemed like they were preoccupied Ravage gave another order.

“All right Seibercat. Take it on in. “, and Whiplash, Hypera, Regar, and Unia sat while Seibercat flew the ship carrying the rest of the rogues on a commando mission. “Oh man I should be out there flying”, Whiplash complained.

“We all do the jobs asked of us my friend. “, Regar said. “Is the device ready?”

“Rock and roll partner. “, Hypera said.

Seibercat said nothing as he continued to pilot the ship close to Stygian’s lair.

Evil Q looked on at the battle with the seven fighters doing strafing runs. Destructor changed screens and he saw the Rouge shuttle coming at them hoping that they would not be noticed. “Well Rogues, we have a surprise waiting for you.”

“But let’s have a little fun. “, Evil Q said. “Deploy the Killjoys.”

The Killjoys exited as per Evil Q’s command and engaged the rougues. Evil Q then went to contact Galvatron and to see how his project was commencing.

“We are ready Evil Q. “, Galvatron said as he moved his arm back to see Zedd, Rita, Porto, Rygog, Elgar, Divatox, Ecliptor, Darconda, Goldar and Rito cast in armor with the symbol of the Destron symbol standing predominant.

“The Rouges won’t know what hit them. “, Galvatron sneered.

The people that came started to mount up as Dana and Ryan stood taking tickets. Girls were having their fantasies as they looked at Ryan, and boys looked longingly at Dana-plus a few girls but that’s another story.

“Wow”, Dana said. “I didn’t think so many people would show.”

“Well what did you expect when you have fliers that say ‘Girls!, Girls!, Girls!’ and ‘Prime Male Specimens’ on them. “, Ryan commented.

Dana sighed before saying, “I just hope we don’t have to do anything indecent.”

“Well we won’t. “, Ryan said. “But the Night Rangers might.”

Dana nodded and said, “Good point.” as she and Ryan went back inside after the last ticket was taken, where the crowd was going wild waiting for the first act.

Kathy Hart saw Alison standing off to the corner and asked what was up. “Well I’ve just convince my sister’s namesake to start looking for me, helped her with her costume, and we’ve also got a cycle show tonight. So I’m doing great.”

Kathy then asked. “I’ve heard that you’ve had… quite the past.”

Alison nodded. “Yep. My life was a tour of brothels and run down neighborhoods learning the trade of selling herself to the highest bidder. Which is probably what Ashley will find.”

“I also heard some of your clients were… women. “, Kathy said.

Alison then smiled. “Yep, and it isn’t too bad. And if there is a stick in the mud that has a problem with it, well they can tell me to my face. And I’ll say I’m not going to change for them.” Alison then looked at Kathy and asked, “You’re not looking for a roll in the hay are you?”

“Oh no!”, Kathy said looking at Alison. “I’m just amazed by the life you came from and how you got out. You’re an interesting person and I’d like to get to know you better.” Alison looked at Kathy skeptically but both girls were distracted by a book that was flying in then floated over the girls. “What’s that?”, Kathy asked.

The floating book then hit Kathy in the head and went over to Bulk and Skull who were dressing in the scottish kilts. “Hey Bulkie, looky here.”

Bulk turned to look at the book hovering over him, and the other rangers also turned to look. “Hey Kincaid, isn’t that the book of Zordon?”, Jessica asked.

The book then hit Jessica in the head then turned so she could read the cover. “The book of Gordon?”, she said shocked. “Who’s Gordon?”

“He’s…. someone you have to see to believe. “, Skull asked as the page opened op to where Bulk was reading. “Well what does it say?”, Znane asked.

Bulk then read what the book said to Skull. “Knock, knock!

Skull asked “Who’s there?”

“I Otto”

“I Otto who?”

“I Otto cut your allowance you lousy brat. “The rangers rolled their eyes at the conclusion of the bad joke as a drummer was heard giving the traditional drum beat after a joke. All the rangers looked around to see where the drumming was coming from but gave up after two seconds. Then Jason asked, “Is that all it says?”

Bulk and Skull looked at the book and Bulk said. “No it also says, the time of the sixth ranger is coming.”

“Bulkie does this mean?… “, Skull asked.

“Yes! We’re getting a new Blunder Ranger!”, Bulk said as all the Blunder Rangers came together in a group hug. The other rangers rolled their eyes back as if saying Not another one

Ernie came onto the stage and addressed the crowd. “Welcome one and all to the ‘save the youth center talent show!'”. The crowd went wild as they screamed “GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS!” and “PRIME MALE SPECIMENS!”. Ernie turned to look behind the curtain and asked “Is there something you’re not telling me?”

“Don’t worry about it. “, Jason said from the back. “You have the program. Just go along.”

Ernie then turned to face the audience again. “Okay starting out first tonight, we have the best fighters in the galaxy. Tonight you will see Power Rangers fight it out in tournament style matches fighting to be the last ones standing!”.

The crowd started to roar their approval as Ernie announced the first combatants. “First round participants: Jason Lee-Scott and Thomas Oliver!”

Jason and Tommy walked out to the mat that was prepared for them. Ryan walked out with the referee’s flag since he was serving as first official. Jason and Tommy faced each other off and bowed then bowed to Ryan who raised the flag and turned it signalling the start of the first round match.

Jason and Tommy went at it full tilt with a series of kicks and blocks until Jason got off a lucky shot that sent Tommy out of the circle. “Point: Jason!”, Ryan called out.

Tommy went back into the circle and Ryan called for the match to restart. Tommy then delivered a sidekick that sent Jason sprawling, then Tommy followed it up with another one that sent Jason out to the side. “Point: Tommy!”, Ryan called out. The people however were chanting “Boring! Boring!Boring!”

Jason, Tommy and Ryan knew that it was time to up the ante so Ryan announced that the match would now go into no holds barred rules. “Anything goes!”, Ryan emphasized. “First one to score the point wins!”

Tommy and Jason then took off their uniform tops showing off their muscular chests bringing out a series of cat calls from the women in the audience. Even Katherine and Kimberly joined in the fun until Trini snapped them back to reality. “Girls get your minds out of the gutter. “, she said before casting a smile of her own at Tommy and Jason. Kat and Kim however had looks directed at Trini that said ‘Spoilsport’.

Back in the ring Tommy and Jason went all out giving kicks, punches, blocks all at rapid pace. And all at a killer’s pace. They gave everything and anything they had in their arsenal giving neither one any quarter. The fans voiced their approval as they took in the fight with great interest as the fighters took their match into overdrive.

But after thirty minutes neither one was able to get the point and both Jason and Tommy fell to the floor. Ryan called the match a draw and raised both hands in victory with the crowd going wild. Jason and Tommy stood tall taking in the applause knowing that they gave a good match where they gave all they had, even if they had to take off their uniform tops for better movement and a cheap pop.

After the curtain closed Ernie then introduced “The comedy duo of Bulk and Skull doing the song ‘Eat it’ by bagpipes. Bulk and Skull came out dressed in Scottish kilts and carried two sets of bagpipes which they tried to play, but for some odd reason all the hot air the two had wasn’t getting through to the pipes. After mustering all the hot air they could they could only get out one sour note before they collapsed on stage in exaustion.

Dana, Carter, Ashley and Karone came out to check on the two Blunder Rangers then Dana turned to the audience and asked, “Does anyone here know mouth to mouth resucitation?”

“NO!!”, the audience said. Dana looked at the two Blunder Rangers and said “Me neither.”

So T. J. , Carlos, Zack and Andros came out and dragged Bulk and Skull off stage. The boys took Bulk while the girls carried off Skull.

“This is going to take care of my weight lifting for the month. “, Zack said between grunts as the men were carrying off Bulk.

Rygar continued to lead his team down the halls until he turned the corner. What he saw were Lord Zedd in a yellow and purple armor. And by his side were Porto, Finster, Rygog and Elgar all in armor of their own. Standing behind them were robot bodies without heads and the purple insectlike symbol of the Destrons placed for all their enemies to see.

Unia stepped forward with much bravado. “What is this Zedd?”

“Just a little surprise for you. “, Zedd replied with a laugh then he gave his warriors the special command.

“TRANSFORM!!!”, then Zedd, Rygog, Elgar, Finster and Porto all transformed into what appeared to be the heads of the robots. The largest one in green picked up the head that was Zedd, while the purple one with wings picked up the Porto head. The other two were picked up by their bodies and connected as well.

“And now Rougues. “, came the voice of Zedd from the green robot with claws. “Feel the power of Scorpinok!”. Scorpinok then transformed into Scorpion mode and moved towards the rogues.

“Destroy Rogues we shall. Fun it will be!”, Elgar’s robot named Weirdwolf said.

“Quiet Weirdwolf!”, Porto said through the voice of Skullcruncher the crocadile. Rygog’s Destron called Hardhead transformed into a combat vehicle and moved in on the rogues while Finster, as the head of Mindwipe transformed into a bat hovering over them.

“Can this get any worse?”, Rygar asked unaware that it could.

Jessica and Bretta sat by Jessica’s Harley as she told her story. “So you were raped by some king of a distant planet?”, Bretta asked.

“He was a Luciferian, they worship evil. “, Jessica said. “But since then I’ve always had difficulty connecting to anyone beyond friendship.”

“Well, I’ve never had that problem. One jerk did try to come on to me but I managed to convince him I wasn’t interested. “, Bretta said. “I used him for a golf club.”

Jessica smiled and chuckled a little bit. Then Bretta asked, “What about the other Night Rangers?”

“We’re only now just getting to know each other. But I’d say we’re kind of coming together. I can safely say that Kincaid is not interested in dating since he’s engaged.”

Bretta and Jessica continued to talk when Justin came out with a double of Jessica in tow. “Hi Jess, I think you might want to meet someone.” Jessica looked at the double of her and realized this was the Jessica Stewart of this world. She was in a white blouse with blue jeans and brown penny loafers with her eyes shining with a sense of innocence that died in Jessica a long time ago.

Even though the two Jessica’s looked the same they were completely different, especially since Jessica wore mostly black with her jacket, jeans and boots with only a blue t-shirt breaking the ensemble. Jessica looked at her double and hugged her saying “Take care of yourself.”

The other Jessica, not knowing what to make of the gesture just hugged back then headed back into the center where she watched the show. Jessica then turned to Justin and said, “Ha! Ha! very funny. You’ve got ten seconds to run.”

Justin caught the tone in Jessica’s voice which said that she wasn’t pleased with meeting her double and he ran back into the theatre like a shot. Bretta couldn’t resist cracking a smile. “Nice touch. “, she said.

“Thanks. “, Jessica responded. “But I have to get to the track. Motorcycle show.”

“And my act is coming up with Greenie and Poindexter. “, Bretta said who went back inside and Jessica rode off.

The Jessica Stewart Justin had introduced to night Jessica walked back into the theatre where a “Hey girlfriend!”, cry echoed the hall. Oh no not now!, Jessica II thought. She turned around and saw Prancer ‘Princess’ Dancer coming down the hall.

“Heytheregirlfriend. “, Prancer began to speak so fast it was hard to make out every word she was saying.

“Didyoulikecatchtheshow?Ohwowthoseboysarelikesosexy. Idothinkthosescottishkiltguyslikeneedamajorfashionmake over. I’mlikegoingtoseeifIcangetlikebackstagebecausethey arelikearealfashionemergency. Ohdaddylikepaidoffmycredit cardsoIcangoshoppingagain. Isn’tthatliketotalyrad?I’m goingtogoshoppinglaterwannalikecome?” Princess talked so fast it was a miracle Jessica II even understood her.

“How can I put this?”, Jessica II thought. “LikeNoIdon’twanttogoshoppinggirlfriend. Mybrotherjust introducedmetolikemytwinsisterandIsoTOTALLYfeellikesome onewalkedovermygrave. Soeithervamoosetothemallorgoback stagebutdon’tdragmeintoyourlikeaggravatingshopping spree’causeI’mSOOOOnotinthemood.” She captured Princess’ fast paced Valley Girl speak to the letter and even Princess had been surprised.

“Well, “, Princess said slowing down. “If you didn’t want to go shopping all you had to do was say so.” She then turned on her heel and walked away leaving Jessica alone until Justin came up.

“I’m sorry Jess. I thought it would have been kind of cool if you met someone like you. “, Justin said.

Jessica smiled. “Don’t worry rugrat. “, you meant well. “, then big sister and little brother walked back into the Youth Center where the show was still going on.

“Okay wasn’t that great?”, Ernie asked. The stunned silence from the audience reflected Ernie’s feelings about Bulk and Skull’s act. Trying to get the momentum back Ernie decided to change gears. “And now for our next match for the night….”

The crowd seemed to come alive again as Adam and Chad came out for the next match. This time with Zhane as the referee. “All right!”, he announced. “Rules are as follows! Straight out! Two points wins!” Adam and Chad bowed to Zhane and then to each other, then they got into fighting stances ready to start.

Both were skilled martial artists. Fighting with the grace and skill of masters, and also like they were mirror images of the other. For whenever Adam threw a punch or kick, Chad would block it and vice versa.

Adam then decided to do some razzle dazzle and did a flying spin kick that hit Chad in the chest hard enough to knock him out of the ring. “Point: Adam!”, Zhane said as the fight resumed.

Chad’s fighting style was more grounded in tradition as was evident in the way he fought. Adam however could take it up a notch and be inventive when he had to be. And he was again as Chad blocked a kick and held it in the air. Adam then brought up his other leg and wrapped it around Chad’s neck. Then, doing a falling forward roll, rolled Chad out of the ring where Adam got the point and the match.

“Winner: ADAM PARK!!”, Zhane called out. And the fans went wild again. Then as a gesture of goodwill Adam helped Chad up and raised his arm in victory as well as showing that they put on a good match

“Nice match. “, Adam said.

“No problem. You wouldn’t mind teaching me some of those moves would you?”, Chad asked. Adam smiled and they both followed Zhane off the stage. Once they left Ernie came out and introduced the next act.

“And now ladies and gentlemen: Bretta, Greenie and Poindexter along with the dancing idiots doing a number called… “. Ernie looked at the card and wondered if he was reading the card right.

“A number called ‘Shave your back?'” Ernie left the stage and three people stood with their backs towards the audience, as well as dancers in monkey suits.

“Explain to me why we have to do this again?”, Zack asked as he walked out with Kat.

“They just said they needed dancers. “, Kat responded. “Although I’ll admit I thought they would be talking about ballet.”

Other rangers came on in the monkey suits: Billy, Justin, Carlos, T. J. , Damon, Kai, Kendrix, Maya, Keysey, Dana, and Aisha. All with looks saying ‘I can’t believe I’m doing this. ‘ Then Poindexter sang the first verse.

The dancing rangerss brought out razors where they were showing shaving their backs and went into a hip hop following Zack’s lead, and feeling humiliated while doing it. Then Greenie sang.

Oh my god your back’s a wreck.

I think Buckwheat climbed onto your neck

Bretta sang the next line.

Gonna bring the shaver gonna bring it now.

Gonna take you to your one eyebrow.

“Poindexter?, she asked indicating the nerd’s cue.

Do I have hair in my ears? Yeah!

How ’bout on my neck? Yeah!

Coming out of my nose? Yeah!

God I am one hairy fool

Again Bretta sang:

Oh, you’re clogging up my pool.

Then the whole group sang.

Hairy bodies! Ah!

Pondexter sang again.

Now everybody grab your back hair.

The dancing rangers did as they pulled off hair from the back of their monkey suits.

Now hold it up way in the air.

They did this too.

Now paste it up under your arms

Again they did it.

And now you look like Paula Cole!

“That don’t rhyme!”, Zack said.

“Don’t matter. “, Poindexter said as he went back to singing.

Do I have hair in my ears? Yeah!

Coming out of my pores? Yeah!

Bretta sang again.

Every time I kiss your cheek

I get hair stuck in my teeth.

And the group sang as a whole again.

Zack tried to summon up enough dignity to sing the next line.

Then the Blunder Rangers took over again with Zack singing the background vocals.

Then everyone on stage all sang together.

Shave your back All Right!

Ernie came onto stage as the rangers were going off and looked as confused as the rest of the audience. “Now wasn’t that interesting?”, Ernie said. “Ladies and gentlemen, The Blunderbutts and the dancing idiots!”

Backstage the rangers were getting out of their costumes. “I never felt so humiliated in all my life. “, Justin said.

“Dancing idiots is right!”, Carlos said. “Explain to me why we went along with this?”

“Now that I think about it, I have no idea!”, T. J. said.

“Well you boys worry about that later. “, Dana said. “We have to get ready.” She made reference to Kat, Kelsey, Aisha, Kendrix, Maya and herself.

“Well this ought to be good. “, Damon said. Then the next thing they knew was some teenage girl coming backstage talking a mile a minute.

Bulk and Skull finally regained consciousness after their duel with the bagpipes to hear Prancer talking. They both nodded to each other realizing that they found their sixth ranger.

Rogue Squadron was losing badly to the Destrons. Inside the domain Regar and his team were on the run from Scorpinok and the Headmasters while outside Ravage had his hands full with the Destron fighters engaging his own team.

Rogue Ranger opened up everything he had on Dreadwing but the double fighter proved to be quite manuverable when augmented by Powermaster technology. Having enough of the game of cat and mouse Rogue Ranger decided to aim his ship’s fusion cannon at the combined Destron. When he got a lock Rogue Ranger wasted no time firing at his enemy.

“Prepare to separate. “, the Dreadwind component of Dreadwing ordered as the blast neared them. When the blast was close enough Dreadwind ordered “Separate!” Dreadwing then separated into Darkwing and Dreadwind and turned around locking their weapons down the barrel of Rogue Ranger’s fusion cannon and fired.

Rogue Ranger’s ship exploaded in a tremendous fireball with his escape pod getting free at the last second.

Ace had his hands full with the Targetmasters Scourge and Cyclonus while Diamondback tried to handlethe Rita enhanced Starscream and the Divatox enhanced Thunderwing. “All right people. Let’s dance!”, Ace said with excitement as he flew towards the two Destron warriors.

Cyclonus and Scourge just dodged with cold efficiency as Ace charged through recklessly. Then he banked around and opened fire with blasters. Cyclonus dodged as did Scourge. They then transformed into robot modes and raised their weapons towards the egar flyer.

“You have no understanding of a warrior. “, Cyclonus said. “You are an unworthy foe.” Then he and Scourge opened fire. Ace’s ship was destroyed but like Rogue Ranger he jumped ship before it exploded.

The grating voice of Starscream seemed to be the perfect match for Rita Repulsa as the jet flew towards Diamondback’s fighter. “You shall meet you doom you old crone!”, Starscream shrieked.

Divatox then transformed into her Thunderwing robot mode allowing the more ruthless persona to take over. Then Thunderwing transformed into his own jet mode and moved towards Diamondback’s fighter. The skilled war veteran eveded the fighters beautifully, and with experience. But Starscream managed to get off a shot with his null ray and disable the fighter plane.

Starscream and Thunderwing then hovered over the fighter with their weapons armed as Diamonback started reminiscing again. “This reminds me so much of the time…”

Diamondback had no time to complete the thought since the computer ordered her pod ejected before the ship was destroyed by the Destron pretenders. Ravage looked from his ship at Diamondback’s destroyed fighter and thanked himself for putting in the program ensuring Diamonback’s safety. Then he cursed himself for allowing himself to be caught unprepared.

Damn me for not considering the use of ‘Master’ technology. , Ravage thought as he saw the losses mount. He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the shuttle take off from where it had docked and had flown away from the lair. “Seibercat, pick up the downed pilots. “, Ravage ordered. No sence in wasting good resources. , he thought grateful that the Destrons hadn’t blown them out of the sky.

The shuttle went to pick up Rogue Ranger, Ace and Diamondback as the other rogues and Ravage gave cover. Then Ravage gave the order he always hated giving.

“Rogue Squadron Retreat!”

The rogues flew away from the domain following the transport. From the paraphet Galvatron laughed maniacally at the battle that had been won.

“Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! You are no match for me Ravage. I am Galvatron! No one can oppose me!”

“We should have stayed and fought to the bitter end!”, Gront said clearly upset.

“That’s the problem Grint. It would have been bitter. “, Ravage said over the comlink. “We need to figure out a new strategy.”

“Uhhh boss?”, Ace said looking over the computer readouts of the fighters. Lillith looked over the readouts as well. “We’ve got a problem.”

“What is it?”, Ravage asked, his voice reflecting loss of patience. Ace gave his report.

“Some of our ships are losing fuel. We need to set down for repairs.”

Ravage thought for a moment then asked, “Can we make it to Earth?”

“We can. “, Lilith answered before Ace could speak. Ace looked at Lilith but a bearing of Lilith’s fangs changed Ace’s mind about confrontation.

“Very well then. Set course for Earth. “, Ravage ordered, and the surviving Rogue ships followed his lead.

The next part of the show to come was Andros and Leo. Carter and Rocky stood off to the side waiting to go on deck. Billy was the referee for the match with Andros and Leo. Both showed respect bowing to each other and Billy then they went into fighting stances. Andros then gave a side kick which Leo dodged and then Leo delivered a back kick that drove Andros back. A few punches in the chest sent Andros out of the circle allowing Leo to get the first point.

Andros then did a somersault leap over Leo as he came behind him. The audience was wowed by Andros’s stunt then watched as he did a leg sweep knocking Leo to the ground. Andros quickly got up and delivered stomps that Leo rolled away from until he rolled outside allowing Andros to get the point.

With the score even Andros and Leo uped the ante as the two combatants went at it full tilt. Both combatants went at it with kicks and punches then Leo locked his arm into Andros’s and threw him outside the ring allowing Leo to get the point and match. As Billy raised Leo’s hand in victory Andros came up and congratulated Leo for the hardfought battle.

“You did great yourself. “, Leo said as his hand was raised in victory. Carter and Rocky came on next, with Trini serving as referee.

Trini got into position and turned the ref’s flag. “Begin!”, she said. as Carter and Rocky faced off. Carter started things off with a wheel kick that Rocky avoided, then Rocky delivered a sweep to Carter’s leg knocking him off balance. Rocky then gave a chop to Carter’s chest awarding Rocky the first pinfall.

Carter then got up and Trini ordered the match to resume. This time Rocky came forward with a sidekick which Carter blocked, then Carter gave a flying side kick to Rocky’s head knocking him down. The audience was awed by what they saw and Trini awarded Carter the point.

Now it was fuul tilt with both men fighting for the last point, then Trini came forward with an idea. “Something different. “, she said then she went to her bag and presented two kendo sticks and gave one to each combatant. “First one to get the point wins!”, then Trini ordered the match to resume.

Rocky and Carter held the sticks like swordsmen and crossed the sticks like they were actual swords with each one trying to get the final strike.

Carter was skilled with the stick as was Rocky. Both looked for an opening for an opening in the other’s defences, until Rocky saw the opening he needed. He then turned the hilt of his kendo stick so it faced Carter and he drove the hilt into Carter like a pool cue.

“Wow!that’slikesototallyradyouknow!”, Prancer rambled. “Imean, I’veplayedpoolmyselfandIneverwouldhaveseenthat coming. Wouldyou?”, she turned to look at Dana and Ryan who looked at Prancer with great annoyance until Dana had an idea as she reached for something nearby.

“Hey Prancer look up. “, Dana said as Prancer looked up.

“Look down. “, Prancer again obeyed.

“Now look at Mr. Frying pan. “, Dana clocked Prancer over the head and Ryan was slightly amused by Dana’s antic. And as Prancer fell to the floor the Mitchell siblings went back to the match.

Carter was trying to get up but was clutching his ribs. He didn’t even see Rocky deliver the final strike to the back of Carter’s neck sending him down for the count.

“Point! Winner, Rocky!!!”, Trini shouted. Rocky helped Carter up and asked if he was okay. “I’m fine. “, Carter said as they shook hands congratulating each other on a good match.

“All right, and now it’s time for some hair-gripping, deathdefying stunts!”, Ernie said from the stage. The audience roared in approval as a monitor came down showing Angel Grove speedway.

Kathy Hart stood by her Harley waiting. Where is Alison? She was supposed to be here ten minutes ago. The sound of Alison’s Harley filled the air as she rode to where Kathy was standing. “Where were you?”, the Pink Night Ranger asked.

“Hey don’t get so upset. I had to help Ashley get her dress ready for the big song Kincaid’s doing tonight. “, Alison explained. “Jessica always said Kincaid was a good singer right?” “Yeah, I guess. “, Kathy said. “I was just worried that’s all.”

“Worried? About me?”, Alison asked sarcastically. “Wow I’m touched. Now if you’ll excuse me I think we have a show to get ready for. “, Alison then rode off into the speedway leaving Kathy behind.

She is so infuriating. , Kathy thought. But she still couldn’t help but take an interest in Alison Hammond. There was something to like about her even if she couldn’t place it.

An audience formed in the speedway as well as nine of the ten Night Rangers rode out with their motorcycles, and themselves, morphed. Jessica and Kyle took the lead as they then broke off into two teams. Jessica had David, Alison, Ken and Karone while Kyle took Sarah, Kathy and Sorerro. Both teams did some motorcycle manouvering around each other then turned and waited for the next participant to come.

A crop duster soon filled the air and Joel Rawlings-Sky Cowboy was in the sky and putting on a show. Loop the loops and aerial acrobatics that left the audience wowed with amazement. Then the Night Rangers made their way to a structure which looked to have a lot of twists and turns. The teams broke off with each carrying a fire baton. Two entrances to the structure existed with Jessica’s team taking a south entrance and Kyle’s team taking a north one.

The Night Rangers rode at top speed in the structure holding their fire sticks through all the twists and turns. Even a few times turning upside down. Then the action started to get more intense as the Night Rangers raced towards an open crevace in the structure.

Joel knew that was his cue and he brought his plane into a narrow path in the structure at as much speed as could be done to keep the stunt as safe as possible. As Joel flew into the path the Night Rangers raced towards the gap, then in a split second Joel’s plane became a narrow bridge for the Night Rangers to cross.

As the Night Rangers crossed the one second bridge made by Joel’s airplane wing they passed off their batons with Sarah catching both David and Alison’s and she did some baton twirling as she rode the structure to the exit following her fellow Night Rangers.

The audience was wowed and shouted their approval, but they weren’t done yet. Joel brought his plane in for a pass towards a clearing with two motorcycle ramps.

Kyle and Jessica rode towards the ramps and jumped their cycles through the openings between Joel’s wings. David and Sarah did the same trick as Joel did another pass. Then Kathy and Alison did the jump. “Nice touch!”, Kathy called out.

“I guess I’m just a natural on a bike. “, Alison said then finally Sorerro did the coup de gras as Joel piloted towards a bigger ramp and Sorerro rode towards it at top speed. Sorerro then jumped off the ramp and landed on the top of Joel’s plane. Joel then flew for a few minutes with Michael Sorerro on top.

“LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!JOEL RAWLINGS-THE SKY COWBOY AND THE NIGHT RANGERS!!!” The response was deafening-from the youth center and the stands. When Joel landed, Sorerro rode off and dismounted with the other Night Rangers and their motorcycles.

Joel went over to Sorerro and said, “You guys are crazy you know that?” Sorerro just nodded with a smirk on his face. Joel continued to direct his comments to Sorrero, “Especially you. You must be crazy to ride on a plane in flight. I can see jumping through the plane, but jumping on one while it’s flying?” Sorerro just shrugged his shoulders.

Joel then smiled and said, “I think you would be great with a certain girl I know. Crazy is her middle name.” Joel and the Night rangers then turned and bowed to the audience in the stands then mounted up and rode back to the center. Except for Joel who took his plane.

The audience cheered at the hard fought fights, daredevil stunts and entertainment. But it was still not over yet. Ernie then returned to the stage to introduce the next act.

“And now ladies and gentlemen. Here performing the song ‘When the time has come’ by Huey Lewis and the News. Jeffrey Kincaid and the band of angels.”

Kincaid walked onto the stage wearing a black suit jacket with black pants and red T-shirt followed by a band all dressed in white along with a horn section. Next to come were all the female rangers in beautiful knee length dresses representing the color they had as rangers. The band started playing a mellow jazz/rock mix and the ladies started dancing. Then Kincaid put on a pair of sunglasses and sung the first verse.

The audience started to get into the music and swung to the melody as well as Kincaid started the next verse.

The male rangers then came out and paired off with their significant others. Tommy to Kat, Carter to Dana, Andros to Ashley, Billy to Trini, Chad to Kelsey, Adam to Tanya, Aisha to Zack, Rocky danced with Kimberly, while T. J. danced with Cassie in Phantom’s absence, Zhane had Karone while Leo danced with Kendrix and Kai with Maya. Jason, Carlos, Justin, Damon, and Ryan brought out women from the audience to dance with. They waltzed as the horns played their melody and Kincaid continued.

Here the rangers and Kincaid alternated singing. The rangers started first then Kincaid sang the following lines.

At Stygian’s domain Titanar and Brachion stood with Evil Q as they looked out at their pride and joy. The main power of the Order of Destruction. The Leviathan.

The ship was a massive vessel whose size could rival that of Unicron’s, and carried every weapon known in the cosmos on board, some have even said a few unknown ones too. It was believed that it could destroy a planet with one shot, and destroy another seconds later. An awesome ship for anyone to have in their arsenal… if it had full power.

The Leviathan was one of two superships constructed by a mysterious race whose name was forgotten over time. Some say that they existed before the universe was formed, but the first Leviathan was destroyed by commando forces while the second stood nearly powerless and under Evil Q’s control. And Evil Q was very anxious to get it up to power again. “Report!”, he bellowed.

“We have some leads Evil Q as to where a suitable source of power may be obtained. “, Brachian said.

“I already know about Destructor’s proposal. “, Evil Q said. “And I have an idea of my own.”

“May I ask what your plan is?”, Titanar asked.

“All in good time Titanar. Nevertheless I shall continue with Destructor’s proposal. But I also have an idea of my own.”

Soon the multiverse will tremble in our wake, Evil Q thought.

“All right we did it!”, Kimberly shouted. The other rangers congratulated each other as well. Ernie then came into the room holding one of the fliers that went around.

“Would you mind explaining this to me?”, Ernie said making reference to the ‘Girls! Girls! Girls!’ and ‘Prime Male Specimens’ lines on the fliers. David came forward and explained. “Well, you said that people like hardcore entertainment and we had to send a hardcore message that could be deemed true.”

“And there were ‘Girls! Girls! Girls!’ and ‘Prime Male Specimens’ here weren’t there?”, Sarah asked coming to her brother’s defence. The rest of the rangers looked at Ernie wondering what he’d do next. Then he lifted his head and cracked a small smile.

“Well, I guess I would usually be upset… if we didn’t make enough money to save the youth center!”, the rangers let out a big cheer and Ernie himself joined in on the celebration. “There’s also enough to get a new smoothie machine. “, Ernie added.

“Great, as long as we don’t have to worry about Poindexter blowing it up. “, Bretta said.

“Hey I would have gotten the old one working. “, Poindexter said in defence of himself then he and Bretta joined the other Blunder Rangers in front of the T. V.

Sorrero went up to Kelsey and said, “My friend Kyle said that we’d probably be good together. He said we’re both crazy.”

“What a coincidence. Joel said the same thing. “, Kelsey said smiling and the two shared a drink, then they turned to notice the Blunder Rangers, their newest member Prancer Dancer, and Jessica Stewart staring at a T. V. set. Curious as to what was going on both Kelsey and Sorrero went over.

“Explain to me why you talked me into this?”, Jessica asked Bretta who was taking notes with a notepad along with the other Blunder Rangers.

“Because you are so wound up you need some fun in your life. “, Bretta said. “Besides you might learn something.”

Sorrero and Kelsey came up to see the Blunder Rangers writing and taking notes. Prancer was talking a mile a minute as usual. “Ohwow!Isn’tthisthecoolestthingyoulikehaveeverseen?I meanIhavehadlikesomebogusteachersinthepastman, butthis oneislikesotottallyradman!IthinkIcouldtottalylearnsome thingfromthisdude, yaknow. Ithink…”

A mallet from Bulk to Prancer’s head and the birdies circling meant that class was back in session and the Blunder Rangers went back to writing. “What’s going on here?”, Kelsey asked.

“Well they call it classwork. “, Jessica said watching the T. V. Sorrero looked confused and asked, “Since when is it classwork to watch cartoons?”

Just then the cartoon stopped and the image of Bugs Bunny turned to Sorrero and Kelsey and said, “Since they go to Acme Looniversity Night boy.”

Kelsey and Sorrero gave each other some stares then sat down, picked up some paper and started jotting their own notes.

The comeraderie of the party continued away from the T. V. set as a young man made his way to the bar where Ernie was tending. “What can I get for ya?”, he asked.

“Enerdrink with a circuit chaser. “, the strange man said. Ernie gave a look that said’ What are you talking about when Kincaid turned away from the festivities as well as the other Night Rangers. They turned their gaze to the strange man and Kincaid turned him around and said, “All right pal. Something says that you are bad news. You’ve got three seconds to tell us who you are and what you’re doing here.”

The stranger regained his composure and many rangers recognized him on the spot. “I am known as Corranedge Starkiller in some areas but…”

Corranedge then transformed into a metallic black jaguar and completed the sentence. “I am also known as Ravage.”

After a moment of silence Billy then stepped forward, “What do you want?”, he asked.

Ravage paused for a moment then answered. “I have come for the ranger’s help.”
